I've been exceptionally lucky, I joined a young company whose leaders I respected and mission that was aligned with my own. Growing from single digits to 150 in 3.5 years, Lever allowed me to create my dream job repeatedly.

I have too many friends who got caught up in the hype and ended up regretting, or feeling taking advantage of at various startups. Yet I still remain a believer in startups for the personal growth potential – if you can figure out how to drown out the noise and pay attention to the red flags. 

There's a lot of advice out there about the tactical aspects of job search but not nearly enough about the process of discovering your values and a framework for finding an organization that align. Giving this workshop and coaching those making the leap to startups is one of the ways I feel most fulfilled.
